younique 3D fiber lash review

I have found my new Holy Grail.

Bold statement I know but if you’re like me and your wimpy excuse for eyelashes are really getting you down (first world problems here people) then I have the answer to all of your prayers.

It’s called Moodstruck 3D fiber lash and it’s by the brand ‘younique’. Having spent endless amounts of money on products with a great marketing campaign and little else, I was tired of the search and had surrendered to the fact I would forever make my regular visits to the lash aisle in Boots to stock up on falsies.

Of course I was dubious at first. What product could possibly give me a 300% increase on my own lashes?! Now I haven’t done any mathematical calculations to determine if my lashes are in fact 300% enhanced whilst wearing the fibres, but all I do know is they are far more fabulous than they were before. As soon as it arrived I ran to the nearest mirror to test it out. Not even 5 minutes later I was swanning around the house on your average Monday evening, in jog pants and a hoody, with lashes to rival a Kardashian. Winning!

Left eye: with 3D fiber lash
Right eye: with just regular mascara
So what does it do? I hear you ask. Well, it’s really quite simple. The first product, the transplanting gel, is applied over a single coat of your regular mascara. Immediately after applying that, the other tube containing the fibres is brushed over your lashes and sticks to the gel. Once this step is complete another layer of the gel is applied to seal the fibres. The process can be repeated as many times as you want until desired length and thickness is achieved.

The price tag for the UK is £23 plus P&P and can be purchased HERE.

In addition to how little time it takes to apply, there's no sticky glue AND no vein from an eyelash strip jabbing you in the most sensitive part of your inner eye. It’s really no longer of a process than applying my usual 3 lashings of mascara. Well justified? I think so.
