Neal's Yard Remedies - Beauty Sleep Concentrate review

I first heard about this product when a new colleague at work told me she was a rep for the company, doing parties for groups of people and taking orders through her social media site and by distributing catalogues. It was like music to my ears when she offered me some sachets of products to try.

On application (she had prior warned me not to use too much as it was a concentrate product and a little went a long way) I used not even the size of a 5 pence piece and it covered my entire face and I even massaged a little into my neck. I then set my head down to sleep and dreamed about the perfect complexion. The next morning my skin felt 'alive' I don't know what it was and I really didn't expect anything instant to happen, but it felt plump, hydrated and just healthy. I immediately tracked her down in the office at work and put in an order - that's the sort of impulsive nut job I am.

For me the smell is the one of the best parts, so fresh and clean smelling and there's not even a hint of artificialness, so that's why I also ordered the body butter. *Hangs head in shame* I needed more of that goodness than just the facial moisturiser and thought it would be a great soothing aftersun on holiday.

I have always loved Neal's Yard and the fact their products are organic and all natural is even better. Knowing I am putting something good into my skin at the end of each day doesn't make me feel so guilty about slapping on makeup the next morning.

The Beauty Sleep Concentrate has many ingredients including Ylang Ylang, Aloe Vera and is also infused with narcissus tazetta bulb extract (sounds posh ey?!), a grape seed oil known for its anti-oxident nourishing properties as well as supporting the terror of ageing skin. This product suits most skin types as it works with your skins natural night time regeneration; the formula also isn't too thick but works up into a luxurious creamy texture as it is applied.

In the first few weeks my skin broke out slightly (something that always happens when I change a product in my skincare or makeup routine) but I honestly feel that was also due to the cream adapting to my skin and regeneration process throughout the night. Now I am not only left with clearer and brighter skin but my makeup isn't sliding off my face by the end of the day either. Winning!!
