Glossybox: November 2015 review

The November Glossybox did not disappoint and although this post may be a little late for you to subscribe, that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t make the blog to tell you about some fabulous drug store steals that you can inexpensively pick up on your next trip.

The kind of lashes that will make people think, ‘Is she wearing lashes? Or was she blessed by the lash gods?’ These little flutters give you exactly what it says on the box, natural volume. If you’re looking for a lash that adds just a little somethin’ somethin’ and don’t want a whole lot of fuss then these are the perfect choice.
Eylure lashes in natural volume – Boots £5

Claims on this illuminating primer suggest it will not only balance skin tone but boost radiance and create a smooth finish. The full size will set you back £25.90, but considering I can pick up the amazing Laura Mercier foundation primer for just £3.10 more, I’d always purchase that as my high end choice. I can’t say this product is earth shattering, nor is it the worst thing I’ve ever tried, it’s just… Nice.
Emite diamond heart primer – £25.90 (full size)
There’s only one thing I love more than a good smelling hand sanitiser, and that’s a good smelling moisturiser. As soon as I got my first whiff I didn’t care if it added moisture to my skin (which it turns out it actually really does), I threw it straight in my handbag. The scent is very fresh; it’s what I like to describe as a ‘clean’ fragrance.
Royal Apothic – £14.50 (full size)

This little palette has come just at the right time for party season; it’s the perfect partner for all of your Christmas shenanigans. There is a good array of shades to create plenty of complimenting looks and on the whole the pigmentation is spot on. At only £4, who is anybody to say no to this purchase?!
MUA – Superdrug £4

The final product was most definitely my favourite, not only because I am an absolute sucker for a berry lip in winter but because Glossybox gave us the chance to choose our own shade! Hopefully this is something they will do more of moving forward as I’d have been happy with any of the other three colour but know I will get most wear out of this shade. Perfect glossy texture with great staying power and enriched with vitamin E and avocado oil. Ooo-er.
Revlon super lustrous lipstick – Boots £7.99

Next month’s Glossybox is also set to be a rather fabulous Christmas treat with six products instead of the usual five, all packaged in a beautiful rose gold box. Merry Christmas indeed!
