Winter Glow: St. Tropez gradual tan in shower lotion review

If you're anything like me then you're constantly looking for the perfect winter glow, nothing too mahogany but at the same time you want a product that doesn't leave you wondering why you bothered awkwardly wandered around stark naked for an hour whilst it dried... Don't pretend we haven't all been there.

So a few months ago I was wandering Boots and saw a ridiculous offer on the new St. Tropez gradual tan in shower lotion, which made it literally half price. I scooped two up and justified to myself that being the product junkie I am, I would have definitely bought it anyway, had it not been on offer.

Fast forward 3 months (I went on holiday right after buying it so it was pointless trying it until my actual tan faded) and I'm so impressed with not only the colouring but the absolute ease of this product that I HAD to share in case anybody was in doubt about whether it was worth the £14 (ish) price tag.

I know you've all probably thought the same as me; this has got to be too good to be true. It really isn't - it just works! A little also goes a long way and the lotion lathers so spreads easily. I applied it before washing my hair and left it on whilst shampooing and conditioning, then rinsed the lotion off last and was careful to just pat my skin dry with a towel. The only thing I would say is avoid putting it on the face (tried and tested that one for you all... You're welcome) as it stings and I don't think it really worked too well, but other than that I was left with a beautifully even tan. The product is gradual so you do have to use it over a few days but I saw great results in probably 3 showers and it lasted well beyond the applications.
