Glossybox: December 2015 product review

Although the festive buzz has officially left us and the only things remaining are the precious memories and a few extra Christmas pounds, I thought it would be a good chance to relive the December Glossybox and talk you through some amazing products I'm absolutely carrying with me well into 2016.

In the December box, subscribers were treated to a bonus sixth item and thank the party fairies it was a luxurious second skin facial mask by Starskin. After all the late nights and partying... And let's face it, copious amounts of prosecco, chocolates and food, my skin was definitely in need of some TLC so the mask was a welcome treat at the start of my January cleanse.

Essence Liquid Lipstick (colour: Show Off) - £2.50
The perfect pinky-red gloss to take you all the way through to summer. The application is easy and the texture isn't too sticky - a pet hate of mine with glosses.
So Susan Statement Skin Highlighter Pencil - £15
Highlight on fleek?! Absolutely with this little gem. The stick applicator concept is great and means you can really focus the product on certain areas. I have been using finger application to the tops of my cheeks and down my nose and for the brow bone, inner corner of the eye and cupids bow I've literally been drawing it on! I'm all about that dewy life.
Etre Belle Golden Skin Caviar Eye Roll On - £30
Golden skin caviar eye roll on anyone? As if the name isn't enough to tempt you, Etre Belle have created this refreshing eye roll on to awaken even the most tired of eyes. The metal roller ball helps the application with its cooling effect alone, but the formula adds to this and instantly brings eyes back to life!
L'Occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil - £29
Facial oils have made a really big statement in the beauty scene over the past year and L'Occitane have followed suit with their version. The old saying of 'a little goes a long way' is very true with this product, I have only used it on a night and my skin is softer and brighter by the morning. The smell is lovely and I love the pipet application.
Collection - Superdrug £2.99
I can't say this is my favourite colour of nail varnish but I can understand why it was sent in the December box. Silver just isn't my colour but as far as coverage goes, it applies well and gives a very metallic finish.
Starskin Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Mask - Selfridges £8.50
The second skin bio-cellulose mask by Starskin is an absolute saviour when your skin needs a 'pick-me-up'. My favourite part is that each mask is soaked in 30ml of vitamin-packed serum, which in a lot of cases can be the equivalent to a whole bottle of serum! The price tag is a little steep for a one time use but if you think of the goodness each mask contains they're the perfect treat treatment!

What are your 2016 beauty must haves?
