Glossybox: January 2016 review

I'm not sure if it's just me or if dispatch day seems to come around faster and faster every month. Any Glossy subscribers with me on that one?! This month subscribers were treated to the usual fantastic five products and on the whole I was impressed.

Teeez Cosmetics - Oasis Gem Lipstick
£11.93 www.teeezcosmetics.com

A really creamy texture that makes it feel way more high end than the price tag suggests. It wears very well and the colour is a beautiful pastel coral hue. It smells great too.
Madara - Cellular Repair Serum
£38 www.madaracosmetics.com

Recently Glossybox have very naughtily got me addicted to some rather high end skincare. This one is no exception; my skin felt instantly smoother after one application and claims that it will plump skin and boost radiance have got me nodding all the way to the website to purchase the full size! My only downside to this product (as my friend kindly pointed out) is that it smells like mince pies - I kind of have to agree, but I'm ok with that actually!
GLOSSYBOX Eyeshadow - Glossy Mauve
£7.10

Glossybox deserve a round of applause for this little beauty. The pigment transfers very well, it works even better with a wet eyeshadow brush application and the tone is just perfect for this time of year. Not an ounce of chalkiness in sight.
Angele Paris - Red Nail Lacquer
£6.30

In my opinion the most unenthusiastic part of this month's box. I don't know if it's because I have a gel nail kit (hold out for that post, it's coming soon!) but sadly I'm just not the nail polish junkie I used to be. Yes the colour is a nice deep red but I'm just not blown away by the product or the opacity.
Unani - Dermo Defence Face Mask
£11.36 www.comprarcosmetica.es

A slightly premature review as I've only used it twice but my first thought with this product was the coolness of the gel and how nice it will be in the summer months - hopefully on holiday! After application, waiting time and then a gentle removal, I did think my skin looked calmer and less red in problem areas (a little bit around the nose and chin). I know we shouldn't buy into products because of the smell but I absolutely love the fresh scent that goes with this face mask. The mask is particularly recommended for sensitive skin which is something I always look for in products, nobody wants to risk breakout/reaction mid-week!

What are your new year beauty must-haves?
